Traffic arrangements in connection with the Independence Day parade

Bangalore: The Bangalore city traffic police have announced certain traffic arrangements in connection with the Independence Day parade, which will be held at Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Grounds on Cubbon Road here.

Invitees with yellow car passes should go to Cubbon Road and enter Gate1. They should park their vehicles on the western side of the parade ground.

Similarly, Ministers, secretaries, military officers and senior police officers with white car passes have to use Gate 2 in front of Military Supply Depot.

Invitees with pink passes have to park on Police Parade Ground in front of the BRV and enter through Gate 3.

Green pass holders have to park on Kamaraj Road and Main Guard Cross Road and enter the venue through Gate 4.

All the vehicles carrying people participating in the parade and cultural events should enter the grounds through Gate 3. They should park their vehicles behind the fort wall inside the parade ground near Southern side.

Similarly, all vehicles of the Public Works Department, BBMP and other departments shall enter the ground through Gate 3.

Visitors should compulsorily park their two-wheelers on Kamaraj Road and they should enter through Gate 3. Those without car passes can park on Kamaraj Road and enter through Gate 3.

Traffic will be diverted from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. between BRV Junction and Kamaraj Road junction, in both directions, on Cubbon Road.

The public is requested not to carry mobile phones, cameras, radio, umbrella and any other equipment to the parade ground. All invitees have to be seated before 8.30 a.m.
